Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Turtle

Hi
Im Ali

I want to ask you what is Turtle™ for Maya.
It is must for Maya.
Any other superior product is available.

Readers don’t Angry my question is stupid.

Well I read all about Turtle on official website.
I think all features are Maya 6.5 render have.
But my problem is that when I rendered I used best quality.
But my animation rendered quality is not match like DreamWorks and Pixer animation why?
It is the render software problem. Pixer used renderman. What is the role of renderman in pixar`s films.

Bye take care.

let me put it this way:

if you gave me a paintbrush and a piece of paper do you think I could paint like michaelangelo? no way... but that's the point. Just because you have access to high end rendering software doesn't mean you're stuff will look professional like dreamworks etc.. they have massive teams of people with thousands of machines and a lot of experienced people writing cool shaders and tools. There's no way your stuff will look like there's, not without a HUGE amount of work.

look for the "dreamworks style option" in the advanced render tab or the "pixar option" just underneath the dreamworks option.
it should be there:nod:

Turtle isn't going to give you high quality renders anyway, its no where near the quality of a Mental Ray render I use my turtle for making quick previews and fast test animations my final renders are all conducted in Mental Ray but as said above just because you have access to turtle wont automatically make you great unfortunatly its not that easy, otherwise we would be out of a job

Maya, or any other software package for that matter, is just a tool. Put in the man hours to learn the skills which will allow you to make use of the tool effectively. user added image

If i were you i wouldn't aim so high. If you trying to get Pixar or Dreamworks quality renders it'll probably only end in dissapointment user added image

These guys are seasoned professionals, who spend many years working on the films.

Gradually build your skills, there no rush is there. I wouldn't pickup my guitar with aims of playing like Eric Clapton after only a few weeks!

Goos luck.
