Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

3D-artist - is it a good job?

Hi, I'm 15 years old, and I think sometimes of my futur occupation. How good is a 3D-artist's job? Do they get much money? What is your opinion?

Also depends on how expensive your future wife is user added image

From what I hear of the games industry at least, it sounds like a pretty good job. You have to work hard and put in a lot of hours when needed, as with many other roles... but if you enjoy what you do, thats the main thing - most people hate their jobs and i refuse to be one of them.

yeah you definitely have to work your way "up" so to speak. When I first started out, I didn't get a ton of money. 4 years later though, I'm doing alright.

I also think it's very important to have fun at work, 3D-stuff is fun.
So I think it is a good job user added image
