Thinking that thats the one really.

Made a bit of an update, still tryingto sort out the overall shape.

Any crits and comments appreciated on the overall shape.

With "humans" I dont really stress and can get the proportions going well but for this, I've got to say I'm finding it hard!

Cheers

Steve

It's really starting to take shape Steve, and I'm sure once you've got the ear and the hair holder in there it'll be a bit easier for you to visualise it. Your doing a great job on it, from what I've heard modeling a 2d to 3d is pretty challenging, so keep up the good work!

Thanks guys

Added his ear and it helped a lot I feel, also have a little push and pull to the shape. once I'm happy with the flow of everything I'll add the rest of him then take him into Z.

anasasis - Your a mo cap TD? We'll have to have a chat sometime, I use mocap stuff all the time for research as well as training! we use an Animazoo system.

Hey Gster, looks good i look forward to the final product, how realistic are you going to end up as you said your going to use maya fur for the hair so i think you might need to add more detail to other parts or the hair will look odd.

Just a thought user added image

hi Tom.

I'm going to keep his exadurated look but take him into Z for a sculpt to add some wrinkels and such as well as add somre more realistic definitions. Im going to give him a pretty realisitc skin texture as well as eyes and clothes, though the eyes will have small pupils and such, but keep it in a toony way if that makes sense???

A hybrid realistic/cartoon version! It'll definitely be interesting to see how you do it Steve, looking better with the tie and shirt now, he's starting to come together!
