Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

what you can try is make a ghost Image of the HD, install a clean installation and then warcraft 3 and see what happens... I knwo it is a long shot ... but maybe an last restort option !

an ghost image is an exact copy of the hd or partion on your hd. for example;

You get a new machine, you reinstall everything, then make a ghost image (Norton Ghost). You then have an exact image on what is located on your hd in 1 file. you put the file somewhere safe. The next day your ar missing some files, virus problems, word wont start or you have a bsof when windows starts up.

What you do then is look up the ghost image, start up ghost, select the file and click on yes and after 10 min (depens how big the ghost image file is ) you will have your system back when you just installed it.

Ghos images are used in enterprises where you have maybe 100 pc with all the same configuration, so you install 1 pc, make a ghost image and run the image over the remaining 99 pc and in a short time you will have working systems...

Simple... if you know how tough ! user added image

shrink wrapping? no way!

They can't make you provide the shrink wrapping back before they exchange this. That is completely unreasonable - they are trying to get rid of you.

Where did you buy it from ? I'd speak to them again if I were you, and ask to speak to the manager if you don't get anywhere with salesman sam, and if you don't get anywhere with her/him, ask for a contact for complaints, along with a written and signed note from her/him/it/they/etc (did I miss any?)... explaining the reason why they won't exchange these faulty goods they sold you (make sure they sign it though).

A few times when I've asked people to put this in writing they have, er, been able to "bend the rules" a bit user added image after looking a bit alarmed first. This really depends if it is a chain of stores with any formal procedures where the dude in the shop doesn't want the grief. If its a little market corner jobby, you may have a bit more of a problem.
