Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

I forgot to mention that I only used NURBS (except for the floor) and used FG/GI rendering

why are you stopping working on it? It looks good, and the geometry seems fine, but it's not finished yet IMHO.

You could detail out the wheels a bit more for a start bolts and screws etc.

It's faaaar too shiny, it's almost like it's not made of metal, the body anyways. Th nose cone looks like it's made of plastic (but without the specular) where's the spec hit. I'm assuming it's made of the same material as the rest of the plane just painted different so it should be same shininess.

The reflections on the windows etc dont match the environment at all, you should fix them up and make them more transparent.

The shadow underneath the plane is too crisp and hard. I would blur it off a bit in post.

I would also make it look like it's made of panels. Give it rivets and bolts etc, Look at the fighter jet WIP that Kbrown is doing t o see what I mean.

This is a good model, but fix some of the stuff and it could be a GREAT model! user added image
