Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Very very cool snail Kurt. It's got quite a bit of character already. The colors are looking good too.

I like it!
I was just wondering, is it a conscious decision that you make to stylize your characters this way? Its hard to explain but all the characters you create have a unique look to them that i can attribute to you straight away? Its the 'Kurt Look' in my mind. Does this make sense?
Anyway, Keep up the good work user added image

I guess with my cartoon type characters they do have the same feel... They are are built the same way so that might have something to do with it

The oringial sketch of him while i was in a waiting room.

Hmm, no offense Kurt but I think I like the happy go lucky version in the sketch as opposed to the more sinister look in your render with the black eyes and such. Then again, it all depends on what plans you have for the snail, hehe.

have not done anything with the eyes yet just a phong atm. no blendshapes for the face yet as well.

Have a few idea for him might put him on a skateboard thing so he can move faster or something like that not sure.

a skateboard? that'd be funny to see. +11 points to your coolness and respect if you animate the snail getting on

i like the phong eyes... they make him look so innocent
