sorry mate, thought you said your birthday was real soon, Gemini is ages away. goes to show, can't believe al you see and hear. The thing about kids your age is they need a buddy to gain strength from during an awkward time of life (your nearly an adult and childish things are being left behind, change is difficult) you want a girlfriend but you don't know why, you have never had one, so you gain strength and intimacy (which is what you are looking for) from your buddies. This is normal, it is a difficult time and you probably think a lot and feel isolated at times. That;s all fine but you want to feel stronger, so you take a side with your buddies and isolate others, making others feel small (gang mentality) to make yourself feel stronger, bigger. It's normal, but when you do find a girlfriend, don't expect her to behave the same as your mates, she will want you to be with her, but you will gravitate to your buddies and f..k the relationship up. This will happen for twenty years until you finally get savy to life and what intimacy really is, good luck my friend.

Shouldn't you be outside looking for a girlfriend instead of making whoopee with a virtual friend, or do I lack computer savy and this is the 'brave new world.' user added image user added image

like I said, at times you feel isolated, hence differant. You are no differant than the rest of us my friend, it.s an ego defence mechanism and again normal (you are the same as the rest of us) let me guess; you believe you are destined to great things..??

when you realise we are all differant, in in that way the same, your eyes will open to the 'real'world and maybe you won't have to live it in 3D (my excuse is I study film at uni), yes I know your going to say you feel great as you manuover life being 'differant' from others, but in reality you are struggling like the rest of us just to make a simple mark in the world, or maybe you still live in that world of dreams that make childhood so beautiful later in life; if so drink it up because it wont last forever.

me, I used to think like you, I'm differant, I was the best guitar player in town, blah blah, no doubt your the best animator on your street, ect

it's just life and in the eyes of nature we are all dots, smaller than a pixal, who believes that the picture would be incomplete without it, yes, yor very much as typical as the rest of us but it does little harm to beleve you are differant.

time even gets faster as you get older.., work that out and give
me an answer because I can't work it out, but I'm sure you can.

anyway, good luck with the girl hunting, i'm doing it right now as I sit in the uni lunch room looking at this years new crop. Feels pretty lonely here to me, so many people and so little communication.

loads of ppl said that time goes faster each passing year. for me, time is already fast enough. acutally im not the best animator in town... but i do play guitar. haha..looks like we're equal..lol.
yep and good luck with ur girl hunting.

great we all have found some equality. I don't like conflict much. How's the guitar, i just had a lesson, been playing since I was ten but I figure never too old to learn more. Gets to a stage where you just can not get better without a GOOD teacher)" My animation?? What animation? I have done a few things, just did a tut (some of one part) that Kevin put up making a cartoon dog, it's the first time I have 'pushed and pulled' CVs. I've heard of it enough but thought it something magical. It was magical, the more I get into this (Maya) the better I like it and I already love it. Good news, I think I found a girlfriend at uni, she is in to 3D Max can you believe it. Korean also, (my wife expects this behavior, haven't seen her for 20 months, caring for grandmother) and very keen, about what I can only hope, I'm still pretty shy and stuff?? at 49??? must be retarded?! anyway, she wants to hang abound with me and be my 'assistant' when I film for the local TV station ('or anything' she said). You guys get it on cable, at least 30 states in America do (only 1 here??south Australia) it is called 'Awesome TV' and it is the local rock bands at live gigs doing just originals (copyright problems) if you ever see it you will see my name as camera guy, and hopefully the young Korean girl too, we needed someone to hold the boom.

yeah i bet there are loads of ppl that are doped to 3ds max. just look at all those poor souls, (max users) they have to come out of the dark of max and join the light of maya. lol...haha.
before discreet joined autodesk who was the richer company tiago2. alias or discreet. if there are more max users than maya then discreet would be the richest company on the market. the majority of max user on earth is probably downloading it. thats why there's probably so many max users. CROOKS
hehe

Look at the games 13th_resident, most of them are made with max. Just the movie industry is using maya more. Thats cause max was originally made for games. After max v5 -v6 is when it started getting good for movies. When it integrated the particle system and advance lighting and all them other stuff. Do ur math, max is on v7 now. so um 2 years about. But watch max will take over maya one of these days. Give it sometime and the studios will see the trueness of Max. Max already dominates the games industry and it is also getting more active in the movie one aswell. GO!GO! max user added image

No, max is the 3ds software with the most registered users, that means the ppl actually bought the software and registered it. Get it? How do u think they would count the users who downloaded it? They can't. Comprende?

Have a look what you get out at the end?

Not that I know, but would be interesting to see.
