Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Rendering reflections only

Is there any way that you can render just the reflection's on an object, like you can do with shadows in the render layers control pass??

Cheers

assign a 100% reflective shader onto the objects and then render it separately and composite it in 2d afterwards. You can mix in the reflections to your beauty render.

Thought that was going to be the way, I just wondered if there was a script that only picked out the reflections and rendered then lhe way a shadow pass does.

Cheers for confirming it
