Border edges highlight

In the star wars ship tutorial videos, border edges of selected pieces of geometry are displayed a little thicker and brighter then other edges. I think this helps a lot but i'm having a hard time to figure out how to configure maya like this. can someone help?

thanks in advance

go to custom polygon display and click on the border edges button. adjust it to your desire. here's another thread.

is that what you were looking for?
