Scaling a rigged model

Hi guys, I have a question.
Is it possible to move and scale an imported model, that has been rigged, to accommodate a scene size without any problems?
When I try to scale it, The skeleton moves away from the model.

what happens if you scale the skeleton?

As long as it is not animated you can duplicate the group in the outliner and resize that.
