I like it too, but the water is the only thing keeping it back… the water actually looks better in the low quality render than the regular one.

make the water darker and more blue/green, and it should look a bit better

I think this image has potential and being born and raised in the Caribbean there are a few things that seem odd, the waves are too big and the water looks "milky". If you were standing on that beach you'd expect to see clear to the bottom and this falls off as the water gets deeper. The bump on the sand makes it look like a rocky surface (sand would appear a lot smoother at that distance) and it seems like the only vegetation on the island are those tress, I think there should be more green on the color map of the island.
