Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

just finishing a 3 month maya course at Escape Studios in london, never touched a 3D package in my life before that.

thanks for the comps!, on the course you are taught about how to use maya while you carry out a personal project which could be anything you want!!...i am basically bankrupt so dont feel to bad!!

Same here, I went there for the one day intro into Maya and could do with going back for one of the longer courses though living and working up near Manchester it would be a bugger to commute, if not impossible. user added image

Thanks for all your comments, real boost!!, I will post a wire for those interested next week. I would love to do a toon shaded animation at some point in the future but am currently workin on a website (will post the link as soon as its up and running) and some new models to put together in a showreel. Regarding the hair i will also try and post sum wires but a tutorial of the braiding and rope round her waist will be placed on my website hopefully next week sometime as its alot trickier than i eva imagined it would be!! In the meantime here is a Sin City version of my model that i made for personal amusement, wat do you all think???user added image
