very nice work, gets you into that festive feel user added image

I'd guess the snow was put on after the render (it looks like a filter effect) but its only a guess user added image

I usually hand-make all my Christmas cards, but this year I didn't have time. I hope my friends and family won't be too disappointed.

The settled snow, is all modelled. The falling snow was painted in Photoshop using scatter (Both axis).
