Add more UV's to projection

I have a camera projection on an object based on perspective. I selected some of the faces and created another planar projection. Now I want some of the faces to return as part of the first camera perspective projection.
Do I have to create that projection again from scratch and reassign all of the faces I want in that projection to a new projection node and delete to old, incomplete one? Or, as I hope, is there a simple way to just assign those few UVs to the existing projection?

you can re sew the old uv's back to the original, this will take some time though.
