Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Thanks for the nice words everyone. el_newty and mumbojumbo_13,
I took a 9 month course in MAYA thats where I learned the basics. After school , I just read and experimented as much as I can. A few good books are Mastering MAYA 3.0, MAYA secrets of the pros, and Visual quickstart guide MAYA. As for as tutorials this site has a great thread for links.

The most important way to learn is by practise and exploreing all the tools. To be honest with you still have a ton to learn as well, ask me to model something in nurbs i'd sit there with a funny look on my face. Nurbs is next on my list to try and get half way decent at.

Right now im just focusing on my new Demo. I have 4 scenes done and rendered, i'm still sending out my school demo but i've learned so much since then. I really need to get my first job in the 3D field hehehe

el_newty I got your e-mail if you get suck just e-mail me anytime and i'll see if i can help you out with your modeling.
