Why MentalRay 1.5 public beta dosn't render HDR maps (its *.map file). In earlier version everithing was fine.user added image

i always thought 1.5beta was the first release of it for maya 4.5?
are you referring to the actual program mental ray? because the beta one you're using is free and is rather cut down from what ive seen

Earlier i've been using Maya 4.02 with MentalRay - i think the diffrence is in MayaToMentalRay conection.

i didnt know there was a connection between maya and mentalray, thought it was just integrated

were you using the beta before? because if it wasnt the beta then thats ur answer, the beta doesnt have everything the actual program does
