Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

macbook pro

Hey everyone:

First off this forum is a the best!

My issue right now is I'm working with a Macbook Pro and I can't seem to figure out how to get my F number keys to respond to maya in what their supposed to?

Do I need to change something up in preferences or elsewhere??

Thanks again everyone

Hi Kyoteart.

On the bottom left of your keyboard, you will see a key with "Fn" on it. This button activates the function keys when pressed. You must hold this key down in combination with the function key for it to work.

Take it easy.

You can reverse the way the F keys are used in the system perferences. (So you wont have to hold Fn anymore. You do need to hold Fn if you want to change the volume for example.)
