I think its great. Just more reinforcement for why Final Fantasy has bean said to be a let down. It gets so close, but not close enough to keep people from ripping at it.. "this looks off, that looks off". so much they don't enjoy the story or interactions on the screen. people just don't bother when its obviously stylized reality like Shriek. (which was great !) and they relax more and enjoy things more.

I think the problem with FF was that it fell into the Uncanny Valley.... people were uneasy with the characters because they were so close to real that an flaws were creepy and made for difficult viewing.
