Major newb scripting question

So like I bought Gary Oliverio’s Maya 8 character modelling tutorial, and it’s great I’m doing fine so far, but I didn’t add/load the mel script called “GoModTools” Well still a newb, I managed to add it to the shelf, BUT when I click on it, it opens a new scene, and nothing happens bar that, any help here guys?

Thanks

How wierd, I just tried it (presuming its the one you can get off Highend3D.com) and it was fine.

Did you put it in the right directory? aka...in my case..

C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\My Documents\maya\2008\scripts

Then in Maya did you source the script, guessing you would have to set the project folder as well.

Then type "goModTools" in command line/script editor, drag this command up to your shelf, it should be ok.

Guess just try it again making sure that you do those steps.

Hope you get it working

Chris
