Harley Dividson FatBoy

Hi!

Been quite a while since I've been on here, was a regular on the site about 10 years ago, just getting back into Maya after 10 years of working as a playground designer for schools, now looking to get some practice in and eventually get a portfolio together with the hopes of getting out of my current job! lol

Got a question if anyone can help, used an aisurfaceshader to make this chrome material but want to add dirt/scratches etc, basically texture a layer on top of it, any help for the best way to do it?
Not super experienced in shaders, trying to build up my knowledge!

Any help much appreciated.

Good Evening, afternoon, morning, whenever you are!

Thought I'd post a link to a Google album of the bike, that includes a couple of turntables, one that fades from AO render to Wireframe, and there's one that fades from AO to Wire to Textured.

Album - https://photos.app.goo.gl/8griEE7n97EBK4ZR8

AO/Wire/Texture Turntable only - https://photos.app.goo.gl/46gJmVuXNv5Vpmei6

Moved onto a Biker dude now, he's in the album too, just for some practice on modelling people as it's been a while, and wanted to do someone with a non-standard body type.

Hope to speak soon, keep safe!
