Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

XSI is just an upgrade to SoftImage, right. It's made by the same company. Why didnt they just go with SoftImage 1, 2, 3.....etc?

oh btw, XSI isnt an upgrade, is the next generation of software user added image like 3d studio went to 3d studio max kinda thing user added image

no matter what software they use, it will depend upon the artist who uses the software, let it be maya let it be wings 3d,,, there are experts in every software, some artists will be able to create something better in one software than the other,,,, that does not mean that one software is better than the other... its the person's skills
