Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

what are you stuck on? rebuilding the curves? Once you've rebuilt a curve, it won't change if it's already straight. I haven't done that tutorial, but it looks like you didn't use enough points when you built the profile curves.

If you're just trying to build a surface from all of the curves, you could select them one by one in order and loft them (under surfaces).

what tutorial is that? - it looks interesting.

ok well one prob i just noticed as i opened maya today is that the curves arent showing? they are in the outliner...u can highlight them in there and zoom in on something but nothing visual...

you might have them hidden - try looking under the show menu in your view window and see if curves are unchecked. you could also select them in the hypergraph and backclick and choose show.....i think.
