What's up you guys; just wanted to post an idea for a spider that I had. I used all the principles that I learned from your shark tutorial. Please tell me how much I suck so I can get even better, LOL...Thanx again. I love Simply Maya. I'm headed for TD heaven c u there. user added image

Oh, by the way, sorry I still haven't figured out how to post all my images on one thread; tell me how later. And how do I get one of those cool little images on the side of my threads with my name on it?

Hey abie, this spider is actually great! The one thing i would change is the bend in his leg, i would still have the joints all facing in the same rotation, but instead, when the legs go in a C shape, make all the humps go backwards, so it looks a bit more like straight joints on the legs user added image. Ok, other than that, you should render out some images of this thing in a scene!

Tanx Matt

That was actually my first choice...I changed it, then changed it back. Thanx a lot. It's funny how you saw it exactly the way I was first going to model it. Oh well you know what they say about great minds; I guess it must be true. Anyways, I'm off to bed; I got church in the morning. C-ya and thanx again.

mwa ha ha, yes... we shall triumph over all the rest due to our superiority user added image. Maybe make the legs have spikes user added image. If that is you want to add onto it. Ok, talk to you later.

About the image on the left, you mean like my space ships?
<--------------

This is simply a 75x75 pixel image that I uploaded from the "Edit Options" Section of the User control panel ("user cp" button at the top of this page) its near the bottom on the options screen.

I'd be happy to make you one, but you could just take a nice shot of that spider or something and CROP IT (cut out unused space around the borders) and resize to 75x75
