Clear tube with wire mesh.

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone tell me how I could make a texture to show a clear tube but with the reinforced wire mesh in it, like you get on high presure systems.

Im not saying this is the answer, by mistake I conected a uv texture to the transparancey the result was some thing like what you asked for..........dave

Have you tried making a innertube then perant it to the outer tube.........dave

No I haven't but it would still leave me with the problem of making the criss cross effect you get with mesh.

I would try using a tilable texture for that, have a look on the net...........dave
