This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
Think I may be done with head but keep finding things to change on it so thought I would make a start on the body to give myself a break from staring at the head.
Just blocking out the body. Would like to go to town and model a nice detailed body but I have a time limit so may just model what I will see.
The main difficulty is getting the face attractive but unique. Getting the balance right and having someone that is attractive without being a barbie doll.
Having built an anatomically accurate male body ages ago, it should be a hell of a lot easier as she'll have much smoother forms and I won't need every little muscle to be quite as defined in the topology but still, I can't spend anywhere near as long on this one.
Another challenge is being distracted whilst looking for reference lol.
Getting it to be attractive was the problem I faced. I actually satisfied now with what I have. Its got a pixie look but has a 'Natalie Portmanesqueness' to it, I think...well I hope so...and yes references for woman are always distracting LOL
I know the shoulders aren't right but I haven't put geo in for the collar bone area yet as I just connecting hands I built before so just matching the topology.
I was gonna just keep this one real simple as she is dressed smart for an office so will only see hands and legs from knee down and a bit of chest but it's hard to only finish something halfway. Don't want to spend too long though but I quite enjoy it.
