Ok, on the Wacom, you cant expect to make it look great so early. Try to focus much more on smoothed geometry. You want to have everything smooth, because, even your monitor has to have like a soft edge in the corner. So you need to learn more about modeling a base mesh that smooths out nice with hard edges and stuff. This is called hard surface modeling.

As for your wacom, well, it took me about 6-8 hours to make mine, for the contest last time, and here is what it came to look like:

And the base mesh looked like this:[waits while imageshack uploads it :zzz: ] oh well here is the pic. The mesh is really crap, so whatever. And the screen and stuff is done with a displacement map.
