hi M, formally known as )v(, user added image

i dint use any melscript for creating that wire.
i was thinking how to create that wire. had to find some way.

as i am using 3dmax also i thought of exporting the helix spline from max to maya, but i thought there would be some way to model that freaky cure in mayauser added image

had to think a lot abt it. some trial n error and i got it!user added image

so here goes my technique to the WORLD! ( and to SuperDave71user added image )

i took a circle and grouped it once.
so i had two pivots for the circle.
one for rotation and one for position
i keyed the rotation value and then the position value.
then took a animated snapshot of it so i got lots of circles with the twisted path!
then i selected all the circles and lofted it!user added image
then i tweaked some isoparms and some points at the end for the shape i wanted.
if u keep the history on then u can also change the thickness of the wire!
no use of melscriptuser added image. i know a bit abt mel but not that much!user added image

had to think a lot abt it!
