Hey!.. I'm going thorugh the second Organic tutorial.. and this is what i've got so far.. it's my firts atempt at a more detailed character.. my largest problem so far has been defining the muscles.. especially the abs and around that area.. and i'm not so sure i like what i have so far... what do you think? and i just noticed.. does the head look to big?

Head might be just a bit too big but over all its looking pretty good. Keep shaping the muscles buy pulling and pushing the geo around...

Keep it up...

thanks=).. i'll have a go at it again and see what i can come up with.. but it's sooo time consuming.. for me atleastuser added image since i'm not that sure on where/how to spilt the polys to get the definition i want on the muscles.. trial and error i guessuser added image
another thing i wounder is if say i split a few polys.. and end up with a triangle at the end.. (whicht i always seem to do) and the only way to get rid of it is to split, say down the whole side of the character.. is it still better to to that or should you keep the triangle?

Yeah the abs definetly needs some work... It looks as if it's just one big muscle...

Other than that, great work! Regarding the size of the head, I'd say it depends on what kind of look your going for... If you want him to be a bit cartoonish or in some other way not-photo-realistic, then the head should be a bit big compared to the body IMO...

Other than that, great model so far... The crotch looks a bit odd though, but I haven't done the tut yeah, so maybe it's supposed to look that way... user added image
