Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Rendering spheres

Hello!
In the picture the red sphere has an hdri and the inner sphere a basic shader. I want the light informations from the hdri to pass through that inside sphere so that in the render view the smaller sphere will be visible and the also the ligths from the big sphere will be available.
So how do I make the light informations to pass through?
Thank you in advance!

hi,

select the smaller sphere and go to its attributes and under render stats uncheck cast shadows and recieve shadows...

should get the job done!
