Troubles with exporting HELP!!!

Pentium 4 3.2
Ati Radeon 9800
1 gig Ram .......

Has anyone here had trouble with Maya 6 exporting to VRML2.
I have an interior of a building(polygons) Im trying to export to Vrml2 however I keep getting either message when I change the settings

Error reading file C:/My Documents/maya/projects/Rear_interior/sourceimages/Large_wall.jpg Invalid argument

or

error from convertSolidTx (kFailure): Unexpected Internal Failure

all the texture files are where they should be in the default source image directory .... the paths to the textures have been correctly entered but still .........

The first error is the JPEG texture file. For some odd reason, Maya doesn't react well with .jpg files as textures. Try converting it to a .tga (targa) and create a new texture node for that piece.

The second one.. mmmmmm... No clue.

Anyone?

hey Dave I figured out the problem, it wasnt about the jpg files .... it was their resolution size that was giving me the trouble ..... some where 1024 by 512 it was a simple matter of changing them to powers of 2 so 512 by 512 and I have no troulbe at all thanks
