Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

How do I make 1 surface of these 3 ?

Hello All
Long time no see,but we're still learning...
Trying to create my first full character and having some troubles connecting these 3 shapes.
What would be the good way to go?
Connect surface does not work somehow.
I'd like to add a lattice or bone later.
Thanks

Those shapes will never be 1 mesh unless you convert to polygons and combine. Take a look at my arm stitching text tutorial at my site, or the VIP vid here at SM.

The nurbs can only be attatched to each other, IF they are a "valid" nurbs-surface, which means that they have an uninterrupted surface-flow.

They canno be trimmed and they must have four sides, with the U and V direction.

But you could make a patch model. Making your surfaces consist of many four-sided-surfaces. But not with the surfaces you now have.

But that I know little about.
