Mirror question

Hello guys I have a question.

I wonder if there is a way to "change" a mirrored objects two sides by just modeling it on one side?
I know that you can just delete the faces for a poly and just mirror it but if you want to make some small changes it might be a good way instead of the delete and mirror thing again and again.

yeah - just delete half of your model, then open up the duplicate options, put -1 in the scale axis you want to duplicate across and select instance. now when you model on one side the other side will update at the same time.
