Maya 2008 On A Mac ...

Have there been any major issues running Maya 2008 on a Mac. I have 8.5 and considering upgrading to 2008. And, is it worth the switch.

Thanks to Jr.Who and mirek03. You've nudged me off the fence. I like to keep my programs current, but not at the expense of reduced performance. Its a little softer hit to do these upgrades in order. You wait to long and its a bigger hit. But, like anything in the digital world, forging ahead down that path too soon can be disastrous. Appreciate the advice.
