sweet. Thanks for the compliment! Really, once you dig into it and practice a bit, its really not that hard. I find going out and taking video much easier than trying to model an entire scene. From my experience, people seem to react to it much more as well. Good luck! Thanks,

WOW THX M8s!!! user added image Brian I actually plan on doing the Gundams as composite! user added image As soon as I'm done modeling these and then some originals I plan to make some short films live actionwise mixed with these! Thats why I tried to put as much "real" not bumpmapped detail into him! user added image I have learned SO much in doing this model and look forward to starting the others! user added image

Now to answere the beamsaber question!
I made a poly sphere scaled it to shape (that's the easy part!)
As for texture I made a new Phong with these settings
Color Green (I used the default) then dropped the slider down to about 1/2 way (or use the channel box .5)
transparency is half way (.5 in all RGB)
Ambient half way in green
incandescene is .2 in the middle one... green I guess! user added image
then in glow do .25
Works great for the kind of beam saber I needed but for a light saber... not good but you could toy with it and if you find a good one let me know! user added image Also a long time ago some nooB made Obi's Saber and the blade looked wicked... I think the image is posted in the gallery but I could be wrong... well anyways THX again ya'll I'll keep some cool pics coming and look out for my next WIP should be one of the other five Gundams... I'm thinking I'm gonna do Heavyarms! user added image Thanks

Almost there just have to work on a nice background scene... The ones tha thad a background are a bit flat ..Need some depth...

Okay )v( wanted to see a rendering of the wing with a toonshade using toonlight (highend3D) so here ya go!
As for a nice backgrounded scene... I started heavyarms and kinda put it off but I am entered in the March comp. and so I'm gonna make a scene for that and because of the subject I'll be able to put the wing in it with some sweet stuff! yeah it came out really bright. Didn't even think about the light in the scene... just thought it was the toonlight shader! user added image
