This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

It should be in the channels box; press "Ctrl + a" a couple times to bring it up.

Hm...it shouldn't make much difference.

When you have an object selected and the channel box open, there should be an all-capitals, bold text that says "INPUTS" Under that should be the name of your object. Click that name, and you will have access to...well...the inputs that make up the creation of that geometry.

For example, make a basic poly cube; in the channels box, it should read:

INPUTS
polyCube1

Click polyCube 1 to see the inputs.

Can you post a screenshot of what your screen looks like, with a basic polygon primitive (selected), and the channel box open?

The second screenshot would be the one that contains your channel box.

When your click on pCubeShape1, nothing opens up, correct?

I see that it lists pCubeShape1 under "SHAPES"...just below that, there should be another section that says "INPUTS."

Did you delete the history on your cube? If so, that gets rid of the inputs; simply create another cube to solve that problem, if that is the case.

Drat...my "help" has become obsolete :p

Only other thing I can suggest is to use the options box, though it is a little slower, obnoxious and tedious.

Other than that, wait for another God-awesome SM user to come by to assist you user added image
