hi there mate, alls well in your part of the world I hope user added image what do you think of the very first REAL effort at the texture editor.., now I understand it much more and the mystery and fear of texturing is leaving..,

any other thought, good or crit is appreciated.

neither am I.., this is being thrown in the deep end.., and the Mac has just c...pped itself and I need a new router and all the directors at uni.., though only 19-20 have become Prima Donna's .., what a day.., mother's helper and a cup of coffee might help.., somethings got to.., i cant face the mess in the UV screen.., i just cant stand no more!!

Don't know if you did it already but i delete all uv's on the model then select the faces i want to project, project them and press 6, go to the uv texture and arrange the uv shells.
And good luck(i know you need it :p )user added image

texturing is not too bad once you understand it a bit..., still a lot to learn.., but

have to finish the android next and then maybe another woman tut I have?? maybe, or a boat??

added some procedure shaders to get a quick idea of what colours i might use in the end. rock material!

what does this mean?? delete the UVs?? how can the model still exist.

sounds like something i should know, especially 'projecting' a texture.., i used to know it quit well but now i can not remember very much about it.., i'll have to checj the free tuts here.., most answers are there.

the cornerstonestextures are a bit odd, i would give these a light color(broken white/yellowish), with a slight bump and maybe a fractal on the specular to make it a little dirty

But good job thoughuser added image

thanks for dropping in.., thanks for the input.., much needed at this stage.
I also thought it looked odd but I did it just before I went to bed (excuses, excuses I hear some say user added image )

I was going to do more tweaking on a lot of them.., Ive been puting in 'proxy' procedure shaders because Im sick of looking at the checkers..anyway.., user added image
