it is technically his own work.

its a free scene for lighting artists to set up.

he lights it and sets up the render.

maybe you should give it a try and show your results.

:p

It looks great but by looking outside it looks like the classroom should be brighter.

Someone should delete this guys thread due to the fact hes using Max and probably Vray since the only files available for this scene are .MAX files. I know u can import 3ds extensions into maya buts not .Max extensions.

Ive got a better idea why dont you post some Pics with maya running and you working on that scene?

Annoyed!!!

:angery: :angery:
Dear concorddawned I just imported the max file in studio max, exported in 3ds format and than imported in Maya!
I don't use Max for my work already many years!
This image is all done in Maya and Mental Ray!
Go to see my other threads and you will see that they all share the same lighting and mood!
I think should think twice before to call somebody a cheater!
I expect your excuses!
Ciao...!

No hard feelings mate didnt know u imported it to max first :headbang: , you could of said that. I doubt many people here would have max anyway.

Maybe it would have been better if you posted the 3ds model instead..

no, you wrong... many people here use more thn one app simultaneously.

he didnt have to say that. if he said it was done in maya then in maya. user added image there are obj and 3ds exports of this scene all over cgtalk and other render test scenes. so you should keep you mouth shut before you call someone out and research a bit... and maybe when your renders are a little better than his, judging from your gallery, then you can at least comment how you think he is cheating...
