MMFH Logo - Bad Lightning

Hi there. I did that logo from a illustrator file with the bevel tool. It looks fine but in specific angels of my perspective or camera view I got a very bad lightning. I used a Spotlight and a blinn shader with crome texture on it.

Would be very glad about any help user added image

the problem with the light is that it hits your objects at one angle only, where as your cameras allow you to view it from different angles. If you change the type of light, or add even HDRI lighting you will get more consistent lighting on your logo.

Sorry guys, but I can't fix the lightning problem. I checked a plenty of lights in combination and so on, but even when I have NO lights in my scene I can see the logo hardly, but I see it. And most important: with the hard light on the logo. I really have to fix this problem. Would be glad about any help!!

Thanks user added image

Try giving your material some incandenscence in your material options. It will make your material a light is the best way I can say it. It might be something to try.

a chrome material is pretty much useless unless theres an environment for it to reflect. well i guess you could create some locators, one right in front of the camera and parent it to the camera, parent your lights to the locator on the camera. if you're using spotlights you can aim constrain them to the logo by placing a locator there as well.

use more than one light and dont add shadows on them all. Also an ambient light may help with low intensity

Hey guys,
thank you very much for your answers. I fixed the problem now with an ambient light. I used the chrome material because it looks like glass and I like it. Sorry I'm a very beginner to maya user added image but it is really fun!
