CCIR 601/Quantel NTSC

Someone told me if I wanna render images for TV, I should set the resolution to CCIR 601/Quantel NTSC.
However, the output images will be stretched horizontally. So a perfect sphere becomes a ellipse.
Is there any way to solve this so what I render is what I see in the working windows? user added image

pixel aspect ratio. You need to adjust for the nonsquare pixels. It should stretch vertically not horizontally.though...
