Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Tauren WIP

Have had a break from Maya for a while and decided to get back into it, been working on one of Blizzards creations from Warcraft as I thought it might be nice to get back into modeling practice and have an available 3d model for me to study at the same time.

Just basically blocking out at the moment, as you can see the hands are really basic and quick, hence the lack of a thumb, these will be improved in the morning user added image

Are you going to be animating the tauren?

Never played WoW but heard great reviews/peoples opinions on the game - its very tempting to have a go.
Saying that I've been stuck on eve-online recently which is another great MMO game in 3D space.

If you fancy a simpler browser only MMO then try out travian (https://www.travian.com/) which is a free simple resource management/combat game that is dead addictive. Me and the guys at work are playing it like crazy user added image

You mean you plan to send the finished model to a 3D printer?

Sounds like fun! Please post the result when you do!
