IK Handle as Attractors

(Just open the attachment if for a clearer explanation. Open it, and u'll uderstand.)

When I try to create Attractors for Fur Animation, the IK Handle which my Maya 5.0 created looked different from some of the tutorials I've seen online. Its got these extra "bubble"-looking stuff along the handle! Did I enabled the FK handle by mistake? Or is this a bug in 5.0? I've since updated to Maya 5.0.1 but the problem did not go away. Please help!

In short, how do I do this:

You can change the display scale of the IK/FK joints. Just go to the Display menu, and you'll see options at the bottom. Regardless of what they look like, they'll still function the same way.

thanks for replying. but i dont think that solved it cos i tried scaling the joint size down and FK handles are still there. the IK handles are the ones that have been scaled down (which is ok). but what i really wanna do is remove the FK lines.

toggling the Enable IK/FK Handle function did not change anything too. user added image

You can set the IK/FK Joint display scale as well. Also, you can turn off IK/FK blending display in the Preferences panel. I believe it is in the Kinematics section.
