Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

First Car/Truck

Ive just started created the first basic vehicle i ever tried to do. Its a big moving van looking thing :/ I may have to redo some of it though... ive been working on it for about 2 hours.

How did you make the door seam? Did you us the split poly tool and extude faces inward?

Exactly, i still need to fix some edges though. When you light the scene the extruded edges look black though, so it works out!
Heres a sample of the truck, ill have to redo the tires with some reference pictures, but heres a basic idea!

Im sorry but i dont fully understand. By show what i have done, do you mean how I created this model? like the steps I took? Or what I did since the last render!?

oh ok, i think i finished the basic shape. If anyone has suggestions on some details to put on ill get right on it, but i cant think of anything!? I will have to make new tires though.

Try To use the full crease option in subdivision menu to make the sharp edge of the hood as you done in the door
