Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

i would ditch the texture if you are not uv mapping it! besides, UVing comes before texturing. you should always UV map your model if you are texturing it.

the render is pretty dark and low quality... how are you lighting it? are these just default lighting renders?

Thanks for your comment hammer.

I have finally made an automatic mapping that works well for me and trying different looks. I wish i had more time, i began to late.
Im spending a lot of time cleaning the mesh and making it respond better to light. I should have followed your tip about quads.

The lighting is made with a mental ray enviroment, and the default lights turned on, but Im planing to forget about deep space conditions and use a couple of area lights for the final entry.

I wonder if we can post more than one view of the ship because I have seen that tweetytunes has posted 2 pictures and i would like to post two views.

The spaceship looks nice but I think You have to smooth few places. Is very metalic. Are you going to paint another texture? I like the animation
