Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

How to close hole in the head

Hi everyone,

after watching Kurt's Cartoon Dog tutorial (great tutorial, btw. Thanks a lot Kurt) I tried to model my own cartoon character.
But when I convert my model into subdivisions a strange hole appears where the head's top edges meet.
(see image below)
Does anyone have a solution how to get rid of it?

Thanks.

Try merging the verts just on the very top of the head.. then try again...
