Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

the katana looks pretty cool, looks like the hilt needs a bit of work before it looks like the hilt of a katana

i think the biceps are placed in a bizzare position
i tried putting my arms in that position and i'm fairly certain (unless i'm not built properly) the biceps don't connect to the shoulders on top when the forearm is facing that way.
if you change the biceps so that they are facing forward and connect between the flat part of the forearm (i don't know body part names) and under the shoulder it should look better
unless that was done on purpose.. in which case carry on user added image

Yeah it is too wobbly; I was aiming for a fabric material for the wobbly part. u are talking about the sides and back of the helmet right?

If u are then i cannot disagree with u, it is to wobbly i fix it right away

i assume he's so awesome that he gives pity to those that want to do him harm and so he gives himself a disability by having something that obscurs part of his vision :p

If the rest of his armor looks half as intimidating as his helmet is turning out he's going to look AWESOME! Good Work so far!
