Kevin: Yes Kuk Sool Won is a martial art. It's relativly new compared to other established martial arts. The art was officially founded in 1950 by Kuk Sa Nym In Hyuk Suh (GrandMaster In Hyuk Suh) in Korea. Although it was started in the 50's its a culmination of many of the traditional Korean principles, techniques, and philosophies. The weapons, techniques, and forms all stem from Korean Royal court, Buddist, and Family(peasant) martial arts originating in Korea. The Grandmaster didn't want a lot of this stuff to fade away so he went around training with any Master he could find.

I'm sorry this is a bit longwinded but hey when you're really into something you tend to ramble. user added image

re So what you all do????

Hi all,

What do I do????

Mmmmmmmmmmm.

Not much really.

I'm 34 and live in Canberra Australia (with my girlfriend who hates my computer). Would love to get a job in 3d, please anyone!!!!!!!

I currently (and for past 11 years) have supported people with intellectual disablilties in group houses across Canberra. My collegues say that I have a genius for imitating the 'clients'.

Have a Diploma in Communiction and Media/multimedia, attended post graduate course last year in electronic arts (not fiinished yet, probably won't).

Taught myself Maya (nearly killed me a few times 'frustration').
Currently learning XSI.

Enjoy a good yarn
film
art
philosophical debates
Pizza, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
no beer either (ive drunk my quota for this and many lifetimes to come)................

re JIm

Hey Jim!
Do you have any interest in historical philosopy?
Although philosophers of all kinds isn't neccessarily different, I'd like to hear if there is some issues that you find interesting these days or what ever you find interesting.

Btw, I'm not deep into historical philosophy, but I read some stuff from time to time.

I do not support Bush! Nor Saddam! Long live UN!

You know, I've often sat and wondered... Why does ice cream have no bones? And if a box wasn't square, would it still be called a box? Hrmmmm...
