Toon Texturing

First off I want to say that I love what you guys have done with the place! I've been away from the forums for a good year and a half and was amazed at all the updates. user added image

My question is about toon shaders. I've downloaded a few toon shaders from highend3d to see what they are about. I want to get into using them more but I cant seem to figure out how to add textures to the toon shader.

What I'm looking to do is create textures with photoshop and import them as files to be used for the color nodes for the toon shader. However I'm not quite sure how to do this.

Is there any way to modify the toon shader's found on Highend3d to accept a file texture without losing that 'cartoony' look or will I have to go about creating my own.

Thanks and keep up the good work guys this place rocks!
