This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Car modeling

I will post some pics of my refrences, but how would i start off modeling the car? Nurbs, poly's sub'd?

I'm a noob so I'm not sure but my suggest would be to build it in pieces using the CV curve tool then lofting, combining and blending it.

Someone good at fotoshop coul you cut it up some it's just thecar and they match up at the same sizr the car not the file. and i need a top view of the TRD 3000 GT cause it's wider at the rear. user added image

i wud use cv curves, draw out the outline, use the blend and birail tools
