help needed plz

hi, exams are over so I'll start working on my NURBS skills (very basically for now) with a little project.

I got a link from superdave to some star wars blue prints, here are 3 that seemed easy enough to start with:

only 1 has a side view, so I'll probably take that one since the shark from the video was also with a side view.
Does it really matter wich views you have a reference for, cuz I'd like to model the naboofighter more.

Also... How do I start on this???
I have absolutely no experience with NURBS, so plz explain it to me as if you're talking about physics to a 5 year old kiduser added image
