RENDERING 101

HI! im just learning maya! can anyone show me how to render, just finish a modeling a human face. "Show me" meaning a step by step process. Im really f*cking lost. thank you very much

Well, technically you can render something by hitting that lil render icon in the status line, but in order for it to look good you'll have to learn how to setup shaders, lights, cameras, and tweak the render settings and there are a bunch of tuts on that, in the help files and the net.
